How many people are you expecting at AusCERT2021?

AusCERT2021 will be delivered in hybrid mode and in line with the venue’s Covid-safe Site Specific Plan, in-person registrations will be limited to 350pax only (figure excludes Speakers, Sponsor Exhibitors and the AusCERT and Events Delivery Team). There will be an unlimited capacity for our virtual delegate registration component. **Delegate swag bags will be limited to in-person delegates ONLY

Can you tell us about the program format for AusCERT2021?

The AusCERT2021 conference is split into two parts; tutorials and presentations, find out more about this scheduled program including speaker times and tutorials here. Please note that priority access to tutorials will be granted to AusCERT members. In-person delegates may opt to participate in tutorials that are offered in either modes of delivery; however should a remote (virtual) tutorial be selected, they are asked to undertake their participation in their own space as AusCERT will not be in a position to set aside an allocated space at the venue. Remote (virtual) delegates can only enrol to participate in tutorials that are offered solely as a virtual option.

What platform or software will you be utilising to deliver the conference virtually?

We will be working with the team from OnAir by EventsAir. Virtual delegates will be able to attend conference sessions and interact or connect with the speakers and fellow members of the cyber and information security community including sponsors from the comfort of their office (or home environment). In-person delegates will also have access to this platform through an app and can interact with virtual delegates if they wish to.

What if the in-person format for the conference is impeded by any Australian Government imposed restrictions?

DELEGATES
In the event a delegate is unable to attend the conference in-person due to Covid-19 or Australian Government imposed restrictions, the face to face registration will be transferred to a remote (virtual) registration with any differences in fees refunded. Full refunds will not be provided should a delegate not be able to attend the face-to-face event due to COVID or Government restrictions. However, accommodation costs booked at The Star Gold Coast will be refunded in full.

SPONSORS
